Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 following a civil ceremony. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May of 2013, and her son was who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social networks.
